On behalf of the Local Organizing Committee, it is our great pleasure to welcome you to Beijing, China, for the 11th International Symposium on Fish Endocrinology (ISFE 2028).

We are delighted to welcome longtime friends and colleagues, newcomers to the field, and the many students and early-career researchers who represent the future of fish endocrinology. Since its inception, ISFE has brought together scientists from around the world to exchange ideas, share important discoveries, and build collaborations across disciplines and generations.

The field of fish endocrinology continues to advance rapidly, supported by new technologies, multidisciplinary approaches, and an ever-growing understanding of the complex mechanisms that regulate fish development, growth, reproduction, metabolism, stress responses, and environmental adaptation. ISFE 2028 will provide an international forum for presenting these advances, discussing emerging questions, and exploring new directions for our field.

We are preparing a stimulating scientific programme featuring oral and poster presentations, thoughtful discussion, and opportunities for meaningful professional exchange. We hope the symposium will encourage established researchers and young scientists alike to share their work, develop new ideas, renew existing collaborations, and form lasting connections within the international fish endocrinology community.
